Just spotted an e-mail from Chambers Street. Burlotto Monvigliero 2012 at $80, with the euro at $1.13.
Sigh. Cross another once-affordable great wine off my list.

That is rather a lot of money, especially for a vintage that isn’t one of the 5 vintages of the century that we’ll have this decade. Hopefully it turns up cheaper elsewhere.
You can buy the same wine at Garnet for $66.39 and at Flatiron for $66.99
I hadn’t checked prices. Thanks. Chambers stopped competing on price some time back, but that’s a big differential!
Just out of curiosity, how much less is the Fratelli Alessandria Monvigliero in NYC?
We have a messed up pricing structure in Vancouver, and the difference here is well over $20.
I paid $55 for the 2010.
