I’d like some Burgundy travel advice from the BB. I have been exploring (and loving) this region for a couple of years. My favorites so far have been Grivot, Potel, Faiveley, Leroy, Hudelot-Noellat, Jadot. But there are many I have not yet tried. I am traveling to Belgium this summer and we are going to take a week afterwards to travel and will spend some time in Burgundy. Our itinerary is not set, but likely we’ll be based in Dijon.
Normally, I’d ask my wine retailor to put me in contact with reps to set up appointments, but of course that is virtually impossible in Pennsylvania with our state run system. I could contact Chateau directly, but I have found that going through channels gets you a better experience.
Does anyone here have contacts that could help me set up appointments? Any advice on specific Domaine I should visit?
We are likely going to only want to see 4-5 places at most over a few days as our little guy will not have the patience for all day wine visits.
