Sauvignon with burgers?!?!? What’s the angle?
36 for a high here on Sat., so not quite the same as Cali.
Small gathering and I already have some Moscato if there are women that desire it. (If I had only known about that nectar when I was single!!!)
Thanks for all the suggestions. Interesting to see what everyone serves with burgers. Maybe worthwhile to pull out the LVC 2005 to throw in the mix. Kind of thought of much of BDX as being too structured for simple burgers, but you guys tend to think not.

Moscato after maybe but a nice dry to off dry Lambrusco is fantastic with Burgers.
Re the weather: It’s Jan 5th, it’s 75° and sunny and a white kid with dreadlocks just skateboarded by carrying a surfboard on his way to the beach!
To me, especially when you also have fixings like pickles, ketchup & mustard, virtually anything can go with a burger. I say this because if these are wine novices, you at least want to have a white available, as some folks don’t like/drink reds. I had a 2005 Prager GV Hinter den Burg with my burger last night for din-din.
Had an 05 Cap de Faugeres with a burger a couple of months back and it rocked.
