A very nice interview, I thought, and I liked that they got a little in-depth into his grading and his thoughts on the NY Times star system. Of course, he does have a book to sell, so coming across as a nice guy can only help him. But I’ve heard he’s pretty genuine from folks ITB.

His steakhouse review (what was it called?) was great, too. It also was sorta his coming out piece in the Times.

I picked up Born Round when I had some time to kill after eating at EMP yesterday and I could not believe how much I enjoyed it. Wonderful memoir.
