I remember when i was at total wine during the bourbon boom, people were collecting bottles like Pokémon instead of for drinking. 5 people a day would come in looking for the black label of uncle nearest. 6 months went buy and no one ever asked me about it again. The hype around bottles would rise and fall within weeks. So much inflated interest.
