Daily drinker priced, 94 EG but a lot of 89s on CT. If I did points I’d probably be in between the two.
I don’t have a ton of experience with piedirosso, especially by itself, so not much I can compare this to, but I liked it. This is unmistakably Italian and has big fruit for such a wine but it’s all in balance. Black cherry, juicy, with good acidity as well. My first of 3 and I’m intrigued to see how the other two are with more time in the cellar. Terrific value.
