Brand allocation is out. Melka is the winemaker. Price point pretty steep. Anyone have any tasting notes or comments on the wine? Thanks.
They are on my list of visits I will be making during 9 days in the valley in a couple weeks, the Napa report will be in early November.
What are they charging?
Price is $675/three pack.
Wow. Impressive. $225 a btl
Just. Insane. Seriously. Don’t care who they are, where the grapes from, what it tastes like. Just insane.
I enthusiastically bought the first vintage of Levy and Mcclellan.
I had the 2009 twice last year with similar experiences. My simple notes: Bryant Family-like. Refined black fruit. Complexity and understated density of an expensive pedigreed cab. 95+ today but will rise with age. Second experience: Great balance and complexity, understated weight. 95
Really well made wine. Love Pritchard Hill. For my palate and the same price, I’m a bigger fan of Ovid by far.
