I remember buying some 1980 Bordeaux from them back when. I picked up some 05 Melville PN not long ago. They were a bit pricey, but they had some stuff not seen at other stores.
Sorry to see them go, but another sign of the economy.

yup - one more Mass retailer bites the dust. I will never understand how this state is so crappy for wine
I think they have been closed for some time now. Tried going there about 6 months ago after hitting costco and was greeted by an empty store.
that was fake - they saw you were coming and just closed up for the day…now they’re REALLY closed
This is how you judge the popularity of a store:
You get an announcement that they closed, six months late.

At least that made the evening news and newspapers. Plus, there’s a slight difference between closing because business collapsed and closing because the landlord tried to raise the rent 50%.
Very true.
Hey, if business is so good you could afford the rent increase
. Don’t go Tango Uniform until you deliver my 07 Doisy Vedrines futures ![]()
Yeah, they heard he just flips the wines anyway. ![]()
That is sad. I bought my very first solid case of wine there back in the summer of 1984. I was visiting GTE Labs around the corner.
Wow, you must be old
. They were on Bear Hill Road I believe. They had all the Diamond Creek wines (I saw 1978 vintage and above). I bought some 1980 Domaine de Chevalier and it was a better wine than the one they made in 82.
