Bosc Pear, Cheese, & Sauternes

Tonight’s dessert, in our den watching various TiVo’d shows, was a nice Bosc pear with four cheeses, two from Caseficcio della Langhe - Robiola Bosina & La Tur, Affinois Goat Brie, & Goat Boucherilla from La Provence; and a nice 375ml bottle of 1998 Ch. Raymond-Lafon Sauternes - good rich fruit, reasonable acidity, not very sweet, with a long finish. The Sauternes was quite nice with the variety of cheeses and the very ripe pear.

It was a nice finish to the evening.
