Bordeaux Sediment

This is what I do (when there’s a meaningful amount of wine left in the bottle once I stop decanting because the sediment is starting to flow), except I don’t use a filter (usually). I just let it settle in the glass and then do that thing where you drink it carefully and turn the glass slowly while you do and I can usually get another nice taste that way and leave most of the sludge behind, but I avoid mixing anything in with the decanted wine.
