Kirk, If you can source only one bottle, I recommend checking out the Rive Droite, vintage 2012, 13, or 14. It is probably the best merlot coming out of Napa, or at least top Two. If you Slow-O for 12 hours or overnight the wine is truly fantastic. You can often get them fairly priced on Winebid. The 2010 is very good, too, but I think that was the first year that Denis Malbec was winemaker. I think he really took Blankiet to a new tier of quality after that vintage.
