--------------Tasting Notes--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

2021 Reserve Marie-Paule Pinot Noir, Cortell-Rose Vineyard, Eola-Amity Hills, Willamette Valley. “A beautiful wine with a glimmering medium neon ruby color and a light pink rim. The nose is full of wild huckleberry, red cherry, toasted pine nuts, pink rose petals, and hints of a dusty country road. On the palate, flavors of black cherry and pomegranate juice are prominent. This wine has medium to high acidity levels, crunchy tannins, and a medium body and was fermented with 40% whole cluster and aged for 11 months in neutral oak barrels, which provides a complex and interesting flavor profile.” 93 pts/Editors’ Choice (Michael Alberty, Wine Enthusiast). Drink: 2023-2031. Made from 40% whole cluster and 60% destemmed fermentations. 13.2% ABV $55

2022 Reserve Marie-Paule Pinot Noir, Cortell-Rose Vineyard, Eola-Amity Hills, Willamette Valley. " A gorgeous bottle of Pinot Noir-- A bright glistening neon ruby core with a bluish rim in the glass, this also was aged for about 10 months in all neutral French oak barrels. A bit more rich and brooding than its siblings, but still light on its feet, it pops with notes of mountain blueberries, a touch of rhubarb, red licorice, and forest underbrush. Elegant and wonderfully balanced, it sports sweet tannins, perfect levels of acidity, and a broad mouthfeel. 119 cases were produced. Highly recommended and editor’s choice. 96 Points (Jeremy Young, International Wine Report). $75 13.1% ABV Drink: 2024-2032.

2023 Reserve Marie-Paule Pinot Noir, Cortell-Rose Vineyard, Eola-Amity Hills, Willamette Valley. “Crafted from a five-barrel selection and incorporating 40% whole cluster, showcases purity and precision. Its medium ruby core gleams with clarity, framed by a soft rose-pink rim. The nose is detailed and expressive, with aromas of wild raspberry, cranberry compote, salted watermelon rind, blood orange peel, and crushed pink peppercorn. On the palate, it glides with finesse, revealing red fruit brightness, savory minerality, and a delicate citrus-laced lift. Silky tannins and finely tuned acidity strike a seamless balance, adding structure without weight.” 95 Points (Jeremy Young, International Wine Report). $75 13.0% ABV Drink: 2025-2035.
