For those in the DC area, you really owe it to yourself to check out the sale going on at Mills. I picked up a few wines at deep discounts, but it appeared as though the most fertile area for picking is the deep burg selection. I was not personally interested but they appeared to have many, many premier and grand cru wines for 40-50% off. They had one rack of Faively wines (must have been at least a dozen or more separate wines) at least 40% off. Now, their prices are good but not rock-bottom normally, so 50% off is not half-off the lowest prices anywhere, but it should equate to at least 25-30% of the best you are likely to find. They also had some barolo and barbaresco at deep discounts.
I bought 2005 Domaine de Chevalier for ~$45 and 2006 Pontet Canet for ~$60. I am pretty sure they are now out of both.
