It is interesting… it aerates on the way into the bottle, and if you pop it off to let oxygen in, it can continue to aerate. I only use that nozzle for younger wines, but it helps speed up the process if needed. It can be very helpful for young barolos and brunello… Otherwise I do the same as you with the light on my phone.
