BERSERKERFEST IS HERE! - 7PM - UPDATED 11/07 - BRING STEMS & EXACT CHANGE!!!!

OK, everyone, I’ve spoken with PDH Midtown today, and I put in an RSVP for 45 people on Saturday, November 7th at 7pm. It was tough finding a spot that could accomodate us on a Saturday night in Fall as this is the peak season for most places. Bringing in a large group of folks who BYO isn’t exactly everyone’s idea of a money-making proposition.

But, PDH has said they’d be cool with us in their back room, so we’d be FOUR tables, two of 12, two of 10, and we can sneak in another person if everyone sucks in their gut(s). So we’re maxing out at 45.

Now, as to menu, with this many people, and considering the main room is taken by a large group, I asked them to give us a prix-fixe menu so all we need to do is sit-down, eat, drink, and pay. No one will need to choose anything from any menu, they’ll just start serving when we give them the go-ahead.

This is what we agreed on:
-5 appetizer mixed plate
-4 ducks/table (making sure they leave the carcasses!)
-4 mains afterwards

Cost will be $65 ALL INCLUSIVE (that means tax, tip and cockage)

I wanted to get a list of attendees so here is what I pulled from Brad’s post:

Cheers! [cheers.gif]

Michel, may you please add another person, with me? Thanks.

Great!!~!!

Anyone coming in from out-of-town is really lucky to eat dinner at PDH. Sorry we’ll be in China enjoying the real thing.
I was at an O/L there last month. Trust me when I say that you won’t go home hungry.

And for goodness sakes, use a credit card and get the miles. Don’t pay cash. deadhorse

Not very user-friendly for the venue if they have to process 60 CC’s and lose 3% with every transaction. Downright rude for an OL of this scale if you ask me.

Then again, I had to pay CC for my last OL, so who am I to talk… [pwn.gif]

Oh, and keep me as the #1 maybe/waitlist, that’s a tough time for me but I will see what I can do.

Sign me up, please. Or upgrade my status to “attending” if you will.

Love the ‘cockage’ part - I remember that story about their menus…lol

Brent,

Everyone pays cash to the host. He’s the person that will charge the one bill. Woohoo. **~**3000 miles. That’s a pretty good haul.

Maybe I should put it on MY card then!

You did good. That’s a great price. So tough on a Saturday night.

Well done, Michel!

Will there be any theme for the wine?

only Mouton

Monsieur Abood:

A) Bravo [thumbs-up.gif]

B) Add a +1 for me please.

Are you bringing T-Bone?

Only La Tache accepted. You can bring my bottle. And no Aussies. neener

Honestly, let’s just have fun and share some good wines that go with duck.

And Jorge, that jet-lag from upstate might make you drowzy.

I would love to make this but its too far out to tell at this point.

  1. I’ll take my Zantac

  2. That bitch T-Bone told me he found a new guy who was shorter and hairier. Now you owe mw 2 Zach!

  3. I’ll be travelling through only 1 time zone…I should be fine.

  4. You better stick a candle in one of those duck’s asses and sing me “Happy Birthday” if you know what’s good for you.

We’re in.
Any thoughts on wines?

Oh my god. We have a venue. pileon
