There is already SO much going on during Rhone Rangers - that might be interesting and/or challenging to run alongside it.

I like the fact that:

1. It’s before Lent; and
2. would accomodate participation at RRs

Accomodations and event timing would be a major challenge.

i don’t think challenging would stop a berserker.

Also, being 1500 miles away, I need some help on the ground there to find a venue and know what kind of head count we are looking at. Is 50 or 60 going to be a possibility?

I could probably come up with something between the 100+ acres at Fiddlestix equipped with a newly renovated party barn(smack in the middle of the Sta. Rita Hills) or my place just outside of Lompoc on 10 acres and plenty of roaming room (Rock can attest to this).

Let’s discuss when I see you the 30th…cool?

I should have a crash pad or two available to me in the SRH area, so that would be great if we could develop Cris’s idea. I would also be willing to take a week for wine travel and be around for a couple days before/after to help set up/clean up if the dates work out for me.

Couple thoughts, HdR is one big party already so that can work but will be a challenge with everything else going on, accommodations, location, expenses, etc. If we could get oone of the winery folk to host at one of their big houses that would rock but whom…

I think we should press Kara on her offer. Lot’s of wine country all around plus some whacked Berserker types. Affordable accommodations in Lompoc and other nearby areas. Plus every time I think about a Berserker event with fresh pizza’s popping from the oven I begin to salivate.
