App: Dark purple red
Aroma: Sour raspberries, rubbery and a touch of barn
Full bodied and smooth tannins.
Very good length w/sweet gooseberry ending

I figured I’d bring either a bubbly or a dessert, plus 2 reds (one pre-90, one post '90).
I stood up some older ones. Any interest in a 58 or 61 Spanna? Or if we want to stick to Barolo/Barb I could bring a 67 Oddero, 71 Ceretto Montefico, 88 Ceretto Faset, or 89 Prunotto Montestefano.
Trying to match vintages with what others are bringing, I think my lone 95 is a mag of Ca Roma Rapet, which I have no idea why I bought, never tried. 98 or 99 maybe a Marcarini?
Any preferences appreciated, or I’ll just grab a random pair.

I thought the votes were mostly for 67 Oddero, so was going with that. Plus a 2000 Marcarini so there’s something to pair with Dan’s wine. OK?

Was also thinking of bringing a Bernard Bremont Champagne, either Prestige or Rose, since not very common. But maybe that’s bubbly overkill with Leo?
