I pulled this by mistake. I intended this: 2007 Dönnhoff Hermannshöhle Riesling Großes Gewächs, but I did no9t notice the Spatlese on the label. I insisted to someone that the RS was less than 3 gpl But when they showed me the label, I discovered the error. They said it was excellent and the sweetness was a bit less than I exected.

I forgot to arrange for the initiation ceremony. Why did I forget? Because there is no initiation ceremony and I did not have time to invent it. I am glad you got to come. I hope to see you again soon.
Far be it for me to toot your horn, but we opened two Roses. Your Cinsault and one from Myriad. People were shocked at how good your rose was. I, of course, commented that I would never serve them tasteless crap. However, it is also worthy of note that the Myriad Rose was not in the same ballpark. Although it was not a bad wine, it was no where near as good. You have now vanquished Manfred Krankl, Mike Smith and whoever made the Biondi Santi Rose.
Ah shucks - thanks for the kind words. And that was my Cinsault Rose - one that I am not as well known for as I am my Mourvedre Rose, which I know you’ve enjoyed in the past.

Did you get there before the 2007 QC was gone? I did not try the SQN because I have had it many times. The 2007 QC from mag was outstanding.
