Essentially each launch group gets 30 minutes ‘pinned’ at the top. Once the thread is opened by a user, it is no longer ‘pinned’ for that user (but still is for anyone who hasn’t yet clicked it). Once unpinned by a user, it goes in the ‘general’ feed, with the rest of the posts. Any thread with a comment/reply gets bumped to the top of the unpinned/regular feed
