I have a '96 and a '97 Montelena, of others would like those. If not, I can figure out something else.

Since Tiger has take time off from golf, I hired him as my personal nurse service assistant. Should keep me active… and Karen’s golf swing will become smooth and accurate. [cry.gif]

I have lots of Cali Cab and Syrah. Montelena is a favorite of mine. I have some of each vintage for 1984-1987 and 1991-2005.

For Syrah, I have lots of Ojai, Pax, Saxum, and Alban.

Looks like we could use a couple extra people. I will check up here.

Finally all of us on the same page. Ok, I have Pax and Stagecoach Syrah and Insignia, Berringer PR, Shafer, Lewis, and Caymus Cabs among others.

I’m working on picking up something that I would imagine no one has had before. I’ll wait until I finalize it and then say what it is. And if the wine store that said they would get if for me, do not, I WILL trash them all over this board and teach her a lesson. [pillow-fight.gif]

Looks like Amy will not be joining us. Also, I seem to be striking out with my wino friends up here. Several would have liked to have joined us but already have other plans that day. [swearing.gif]

You folks seem to be talking about mostly older vintages. Anything wrong with something from the “ought” decade. After all, youthful California Cabs can be mighty tasty. Also, any interest in Pinot Noir?

I agree about having some older cabs being less fun, so I decided to not bring the Montelenas.

I contacted my main brain for pain, Carrie Bowman, and she assisted me my quest. Through a lot of abuse by her, you know how she can be, and how I never do anything to deserve her attacks…I survived long enough to aquire these for the dinner:

I informed Carrie that they will almost certainly be corked, and that I would need her address in order to send the empty bottles back for a refund. I do look forward to trying these. Very interesting choices. Is that PS the one that The French and others were raving about?
