Just an idea

There are a lot of interesting movies about wine out there, some good some not so good.

These movies while no expensive do run $10-$20each. I don’t know about anyone else but once ive seen a movie I feel compelled to keep it on the shelf where it sits for ten years and then I might watch it again.

Im sure between all of us we have every wine movie ever made covered, I was thinking that we could start some form of movie club where these movies are just posted from berserker to berserker with no cost for the movie. All berserkers could partake, it would be done on an honor system with each person just posting that movie is available once they have watched it, we could get started with a few people donating movies on the basis of they get first rights at someone elses movie. We could establish a flat paypal fee for shipping say $3 to throw it in USPS to the next person

Good idea or would post just say its not worth it and just buy whatever movies they want

We would have to figure out a self governing scheme on here though, I have no interest in being movie bitch !!

Sort of like a Napster for wine movies? Or shipping back and forth?

I can’t think of that many wine movies that I’d care to watch - I recently tried to watch Somm on a coast to coast flight - an execrable movie that I ended up fast forwarding to the end, then there was Sideways, which was as bad.

There are some wine-related books that deserve to be made into movies, and some movies with incidental wine scenes, but are there really that many movies around? I just can’t think of many. If you have some suggestions though . . .

This is a terrible idea. All the movies are going to end up at Berry Crawford’s place and then we’ll all be pissed off at him.
