In for a 6 er. That’s about all the space I can free up right now. Everything comes at once.
Old Hill x2
Sky x3
Farmhouse x2 plus W/L
Lucien 1 plus W/L
Syrah x2
Karatas x4
Restraint!
So many great wines, bought more than I expected. Most excited about the Sky, in for three with WL for three.
Out of space, have enough Bedrock to last me 2 decades…but it’s the 23s! Had to load up.
Order in!
4 x 2023 Sky Zinfandel (wishlisted 8)
6 x 2023 Papera
6 x 2023 Old Hill Ranch (wishlisted 2 mags)
I may have missed it, is 2023 supposed to be a killer year for these parts?
Had to get some 23s.
3x Old Hill
3x Papera
3x Sky
1x Oakville Farmhouse
Yes, Morgan and Chris said it was as good of a growing season as you can have. Fruit was left on the vine longer than usual and they were able to pick exactly when they wanted (no interference from excessive heat, rain, etc). Edited to add, they refer it to the vacuita vintage….an extremely rare porpoise foudn in the Pacific
All these releases within 45 days of each other are brutal.
2x Karatas
2x Wirz Riesling
2x Old Hill
2x Sky
w/l 2x Roussanne
The 2023 podcasts have been hilarious in the attempts to ever-so-slightly dial back the enthusiasm of the 2023 vintage. Really need to pull back on the buying but did 1 each on most of them. Hoping for that wishlist on the rousanne as I’ve never seen what Bedrock can do with a rhone white.
Anyone else not get the release email?
I didn’t
Just got it.
As a newcomer, this is overwhelming! I just got my first shipment last week. And now all this?
Oh my.
Just wait! I’ve been buying Bedrock for 16yrs. You end up having to build a subterranean cellar to hold it all!
Wheres the montecillo!
6 Karatas
4+2 Sky
2 Old Hill
6 Syrah
I really shouldn’t have bought anything. I focused on the zins since those are my drinking wines.
4 Old Hill
4 Papera
3 Sky
3 Wirz
2 Montceito
1 Oakville + 1 WL
I shouldnt either but do anyways
After an expensive Sonoma/Napa trip last month and a kid starting college in two months had to just jump in on 2 Wirz & 4 Syrahs…
Did grabs some bottles at the tasting room last month.
