Bedrock - Outstanding Customer Service

As the old saying goes - “you know it when you see it”.

So I posted a note the other night for a 2010 Bedrock Brosseau Chardonnay. A lovely wine most nights, but unfortunately on this evening…this bottle…corked.

Didn’t think too much about it until I got a note from Morgan, and another from Chris, offering to replace the bottle. Didn’t ask for it, didn’t expect it. Yet out of the blue, a couple of emails asking “can we make this good?”.

Too often, we have the opportunity on this Board to talk about those who don’t get it right. I wanted to take a quick moment and share my experience regarding someone who does.

In any event, “hat’s off” to the crew at Bedrock [welldone.gif] . They have definitely gone above and beyond. Too bad their wines suck. Or not [worship.gif]

Damn, I opened 3 different Papa’s All Blacks today and every one of theme as corked. So were both of my Lauterbach Syrahs [wink.gif]

Those guys get it. A true pleasure to deal with and the wine doesn’t suck either.

Yes they have great customer service and even better wine. Love it

Interesting. They must have missed my email about the corked wine I had. I never recieved a response.

I also had a corked BR which was promptly replaced by Morgan.

It is great to see excellent service and attention to quality like this!

All of the Bedrock wines I have opened to date have been really good. So far, this has mostly been the whites and roses as I prefer some age on my reds. Just emailed Morgan yesterday asking for some advice and he replied back the same day. Can’t beat that

I agree 100%. I tweeted Morgan asking for advice on decanting and got a prompt reply. They are all over it.

Great people making great wines . . . . AND great customer service?!?!? The holy trinity!

Great job, Morgan and crew - that’s the way it should be!

Cheers!

Morgan and Chris are top notch, so is Bedrock Wine…

One other thing worth mentioning. If I remember correctly, Bedrock dropped the price on the latest old vine zin simply due to higher yields. This was pretty refreshing since many other producers have raised prices 20-30% in the past few years, often citing to lower yields in 2010 and 2011. While I ultimately had to pass on this release (out of space to store the reds and was too late for the Portis), this gesture also stood out as a testament to Bedrock’s customer service.

Update of Post #4:

Morgan saw my post and sent me an email with an offer to replace the bottle.

Morgan replaced a corked Stellwagen for me once just from keeping an eye on CT notes. First class all the way!

Every bottle of Bedrock I have opened has exceeded my expectations. I opened a bottle of red, and my son chided me for infanticide. Love the Rose and the whites so far. And, it seems that every time I order I end up in an interesting dialogue with Morgan! I have found his posts educational, but on the modest side. May head out for a visit next year! My wife is fascinated by the plant/gardening/vineyard aspect of wine!

All I can add Is a big [welldone.gif] to all the above, I feel truly blessed to be included in the Bedrock family. champagne.gif [cheers.gif] flirtysmile
