DM Out!
Veleta has terrific olive oil and tinned fish. @Nola_Palomar is located in Dayton. Highly recommended and you could do local pickup.
How did I not know this before now @Shannon_M . We should meet up when you return!!
Pick up is def a preferred method!! I have even delivered orders to Cinci in the past!!
Good to know! You can find me most Thursdays at Joui for the blind tasting. Have you been there yet? Cheers!
Almost ordered the liquid farm but the shipping cost stopped me in my tracks. Hard to do when you’re not even sure the wine is something you will enjoy. Ordered an intro 3 pack for the Perry Collin. Waiting for tomorrow to finalize the rest.
How much was shipping?
I show ~$60 for a case to Indiana.
Btw their White Hill Chardonnay is wonderful.
It was 39 for 6 and 60 for a case. 40 for a half case is what made me back off for a minute. This is more than I’m use to paying for shipping. (LBM, WTSO, local wine shop owner that orders wine for me free of the delivery free). A case shipped by rare storage through K&L runs 30/50 to Ohio. I may still order the “wonderful” yum-- chard from them but I’m holding off to look at a couple of wineries tomorrow. (I understand it’s really apples to apples in the long run and I don’t mean to sound whiny about the wine
)
I’m in Oregon, Tillamook county. Primarily interested in reds and sparkling.
My interests are pretty aligned with the wineries listed so far in this group!
Also in chicago for splits
