In our desktop website, you can edit the wine definition to change the vintage in 2 seconds, and ALL of your data on that wine migrates. Barcodes are unaffected.
If you need to move a SUBSET of the data, THEN you get into deleting and re-adding bottles (and this new bottle ID’s and needing to print new barcodes).
Is that under Edit Wine Definition? That doesn’t affect other users?
If you change the vintage, just your data moves.
If you change other fields AND the wine is shared with other users, your proposed edit drops into an approval queue. It is usually pretty obvious when a user is trying to correct a wine for ALL users versus just changing/fixing their own holdings.
