We will be in Baltimore for the US Open June 16-19. Anybody interested in an offline for that Thursday, Friday or Saturday (Sunday is Father’s Day)? Theme can be whatever you want, we’ll bring it.
If it’s the weekend we’d look at driving up.
I’m interested on any of those days, regardless of the theme.

Guys - the US Open is in Bethesda, which is much closer to DC. Regardless, I would like to attend, if my work entertaining at the event allows.

Friday and Saturday of that week are Bonner’s SQN thing (I know, I know). If you want to kill me, schedule a DC offline for that Thursday night. Otherwise I won’t be able to make it to DC or Baltimore.
However, I wholeheartedly support DC Offline Week, whenever it is.
Joe is correct, the US Open is at Congressional CC in Bethesda. BYO is not permitted in Bethesda, (thank you Montgomery County) so it would have to be a DC restaurant, of which there are many that would be good. I would definitely be interested if it is in DC. I don’t mind driving to B’more, but don’t want to make the hour long plus drive home afterward if I’ve enjoyed myself as much as I think I would.

To help jump start the Baltimore discussion, here is a link showing some Baltimore BYO places. It is not 100% up to date in the sense that some of the places are no longer in business (i.e., Salsa Grill). In the neighborhood where the OP will be staying, Asahi Sushi is still around. When I called there today the person who answered said they still allow BYO with no corkage.
Gentlemen - I am hoping to play in both camps as I feel both destinations are good for me. I am also happy to coordinate a DC offline as I feel a need to make up for the “less than” offering provided at our last off-line at S&W. Would like to see all of you, and the usual DC suspects (like Thomas and Tooch and others) if we put something together…
