Anyone done this? Any ideas…a quick google search showed how I can infuse olive oil with herbs, citrus and even cannibas but nothing for bacon…

In my quest to ingest copious amounts of THC without smoking it or eating processed foods & sugars I have struck upon something quite delightful to the taste buds. I am pleased to bring the community a healthy, alternative to the common idea that sugar is the best way to cover up the unpleasant taste of cannabis.
First, you’ll need to make your Cannabis Olive Oil Infusion: This stuff is great for more than just salad dressing. Anything you normally use olive oil for, just don’t heat it too much. Try it on pasta, or even rub the pure thc olive oil on your back if you’ve got a backache or sore muscles. Its amazing stuff. Even just rubbing it on your skin can get you high
Don’t cook the oil on a stove top or you’ll burn it. Go to a second hand store and find yourself a crock pot. They’re cheap and great for cooking weed in. Get some nice organic extra-virgin olive oil (cheap olive oil not only tastes bad, but it can be full of pesticides and chemicals, so I wouldn’t recommend using it). Throw it in the blender with plenty of weed. Add the slowly and use enough oil or you’ll kill the blender I used mostly popcorn buds. - about 1/4 lb in 5 cups of oil. You can do as little or as much as you want but its easier to cook in larger quantities of oil You could reduce the potency a good amount and still wind up with some strong stuff. Set your Crockpot on high for about an hour, and turn it down to low for a couple more… Stirring occationaly. Keep covered. Allow to cool & strain through a cheesecloth or large strainer.

You can find all sorts of interesting things on the Internet when you aren’t even trying. When I lived in Santa Rosa, I had a neighbor that smoked pot 24/7. You’d smell pot in the am from smoking then at various times during the day then around 10 pm you’d smell baked goods being produced as well…he was soon evicted.
And do you still get the shakes at night or have they subsided now that it is all out of your system?
It gets out of the system pretty quickly…thankfully! Seriously though…people in Nor Cal take pot very seriously.
I rode with some competitive riders that would smoke a little before a 2+ hour hammer ride in Sonoma County…blew my mind that they could smoke then ride like that. I would have been on the side of the road laughing my arse off or something.
I wonder about cooking the bacon, and then putting the warm bacon strip into a the oil and then letting it “infuse” that way.
I wouldn’t put that much (bacon) oil (if any) in there, I’m not sure how it would do in the olive oil as i think that it would solidify at room temp…keep us updated.
