Actually it isn’t widely published. My Step-Son buys fruit from the Bacigalupi’s so I’ve known about that for some time. That was a nice article in the paper a couple days ago.

I read the book by George Taber on the Paris tasting. Is it in there?Maybe I missed it.

Thanks for the article… I am married into the Bacigalupi family. Tasty wines are definitely being made from that vineyard still.

There’s a link from their website that tells the story, and it has a photo of the original 1973 weigh tag for the Bacigalupi Chardonnay that was sold to Chateau Montelena: 1976 Paris Tasting
