Hi Brig,
Our two winners are Scott Baker (@ScottBaker I think) and Rodrigo Braga (@Rodrigo_B)–with a clearing price (third highest bid) of $225. I’m emailing all parties who bid to let them know.
Thanks to everyone for taking part in the experiment and to @ToddFrench and @brigcampbell for letting me try this out.

Damn @Rodrigo_B at least I set the price!
We keep alternating winning large format lots. At least one of us won it, we gotta grow our collective stash for our Oregon large format party to be held at some point in the future
Bill, I wasn’t sure if I should say anything…but it did seem especially ironic after the exchange in this thread!
For the last few Berserker Days, Bill and I have basically been alternating on winning certain Berserker Day large format auction lots. Last year he beat me to a 5L of Goodfellow, so I had to ensure I was gonna win one of these bottle this year
.
At some point we’ll throw a big large format party open up all of these auction mags, jeros, and 5Ls
Oh, that’s too funny. I figured there was some sort of backstory, and it wasn’t particularly hostile, but that’s great.
No hostility at all! Just some friendly banter and enthusiasm for the wines
@Rodrigo_B I can hardly wait for the throw down - @Saul_Mutchnick look forward to meeting you! So fun and such a great community! Sorry I was checked out the last couple days competing in a platform tennis tournament!
I really shouldn’t be posting much about this wine before I manage to secure more of it. But the auction mag arrived yesterday and the hand painted label was too cool not to share:
