Aubert Release Alert

allocated 30 and took 24. I left the uvsl. No mags offered this year.

Dropped off the list a few years back after I missed an offer following a move. I signed up again last year and received a really nice allocation today. Very happy with that!

Ouch - IL tax and shipping is a major drag…oh well, I still ordered!

No doubt…looking at around $15 per bottle… [wow.gif] [wow.gif] [wow.gif]

Placed my order several hours ago ( I thought :frowning: )but have not received a confirmation. I followed up with an email but no response. Any suggestion from those of you that have ordered from them in the past ?

Login to your account and under “Order History” you should be able to view your order status. If unavailable, then call Philip Gift, their Retail and Guest Relations Manager.

Woohoo! Order in. First timer on the list and got a decent allocation. Picked up the following:

4X 2013 Ritchie Vineyard Sonoma Coast Chardonnay
5X 2013 Lauren Estate Vineyard Sonoma Coast Chardonnay
1X 2013 UV-SL Vineyard Sonoma Coast Chardonnay
3X 2013 Eastside Vineyard Russian River Chardonnay
2X 2013 CIX Estate Vineyard Sonoma Coast Chardonnay
1X 2013 Larry Hyde & Sons Vineyard Carneros Chardonnay
1X 2013 Sugar Shack Estate Vineyard Napa Chardonnay
1X 2012 Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir

Going to be a fun spring!

Just placed my order for full allocation of Chards (21) and wish listed a couple of Laurens and Sugar Shacks. Figured this was a vintage to stock up on.

I received an email right away from wine@aubertwines.com. You might try emailing that address and see if that can straighten things out.

Odd. I made the list last year but didn’t order. This year I barely got any allocation.

Same here Eric, their allocation must be based on prior purchase history. I was allocated a total of 24 bottles I think, didn’t purchase any PN but went all in on the Chard. I didn’t get any Sugar Shack or Lauren in my allocation so I wish listed them.

I’m not sure if that’s entirely the case. I have only purchased once before but was still allocated a few Lauren and Sugar Shack. I was allocated 4-6 of the others. Not a huge allocation by any means, but more than what I wanted anyway.

How does wish list work with them? Any idea when they grant requests? I emailed them tonight and will hopefully hear back soon, but curious if anyone has past wish list experience with them.

I purchased twice before and wasn’t allocated any SS or Laurens; maybe I waited too long? No big deal, got plenty of other cherries.

I just went back and checked past emails and I’ve never been wish listed anything to date but this is only my 3d allocation. Maybe 3x a charm?

Thanks Jason and Jeff. I was able to make contact with Phillip and finalize my order. I appreciated his efforts to get back to me on what had to be a very busy day.

This is where their allocation get bizarre; first timer and you get a higher Lauren allocation than established customers…

Aubert likes to get you laid on the first date, basically their very generous on your first allocation. But any slight hesitation on your part to commit, they’ll quickly kick you out of bed and toss you to the curb. You’ll be lucky to see home plate again. From then on out, you’ll only be hitting singles with them, hence a much lower allocation.

I contacted them and asked why first time allocations were 10x greater than mine when thsi was my first ourchase but made the list lkast year.

They basically said, you passed last year so we cut your allocations accordingly. Doesn’t make sense to me that people that have been buying for years get less than year 1st year list buyers. I simply didn’t buy last year as I didn’t expect to make the list that soon and so I didn’t budget for them and this year I did, but they moved on. Extremely weird allocation policy with these people. I know the juice is solid but as the secondary market isn’t much greater than release, I will probably pass on these in the futurend buy from Auction, retail or or board members.

Philip was a great help to me, very please with my order and these wines. Nearly always special.
