What are you hearing good about 23 Burg? From what I tasted and heard, can’t say it seems exceptionally special compared to what’s still available from the last few vintages.
Buying less. Everyone’s situation is different but I tend to drink daily drinkers and special bottles…very little in that mid tier arena.
I opted to drink less in January and it worked pretty easily so I’ve carried that over. Social life has been minimal this winter which makes wine consumption easier.
Still in buy mode…and happily pulling the trigger if a deal is compelling but really skipping those daily drinkers lately. And not missing them much at all.

Been buying less due to storage concerns and having a kid to budget for now. But I have been buying more Champagne than I previously was due to the price drops.
Was less for a while but I’ve picked up a bit, as there are a fair number of auction deals out there.

More or less in terms of total bottles purchased: Fewer, bought less at BD16, but BD15 was way over the top. Hope to slow considerably remainder of year, keeping a few wine club obligations and nothing else.
More or less in terms of value of said bottles purchased: About the same per bottle, so overall lower spend.

Bought 3 bottles in 2024, 3 in 2025 (but two were 375s).
I almost bought about 7 times in 2023, 12 times in 2024 and 3 times so far this year (usually after reading the champagne thread)

As others have noted, the deals of early Covid are largely gone and I’ve got more than enough daily drinkers, aged wine, and stuff that needs time. My BD this year was much less berserk than in prior years. I have a small handful of CA lists I’ll probably keep buying from (Beta, Tidings, Bedrock, Scar of the Sea, a couple of others) and some OR wineries I will continue to support (GF, PGC, Vincent, Violin, KF, Championship Bottle) but even with those lists/wineries, my purchases are going to be down from prior years, not that I was ever a multi case buyer from any of the lists I’m on. I’ll buy European wines mostly from local shops as I try to keep shipping isolated to list/BD purchases.

How long have you been ‘into wine’ - that I’ve been buying myself, 33 years (since I got married and moved out of my father’s house). In our culture, it is the general rule that children live with their parents until they get married.

I have the same problem many here do. My cellar swelled during the covid years and i have no room left. Also bought way more daily drinkers than i should have since i dint actually drink them much. Couple that with price increases and my palette changing. I plan to buy less but probably still wont have any room.
