APRICOT DUMPLINGS or "Marillenknödel"

Here comes an austrian classic…

RECIPE

6 apricots, 6 pieces of cube sugar and at the end 100-150g breadcrumbs, 3-4 tbsp sugar, 1 tsp cinnamon or 1-2 tbsp cinnamon sugar, 50g butter

Dumpling dough: 150g flour, 250g curd (20%), lemonpeel, 30g sugar, 50-100g breadcrumbs, 30g soft butter, vanilla, 1 egg yolk, 1 egg

My grandma used to make those long ago back in Romania. She also made them with other fruits, like plums.
