Anyone up for a Bordeaux weekly feature??

I know we have a few hundred somewhat frustrated Bordeaux-heads here, and I would love to see one of you take on a project like Ray Walker has done for Burgundy to turn the community into a Burgophile destination.

His weekly series (here’s an example - https://wineimport.discoursehosting.net/t/wb-weekly-burgundy-appellation-series-week-20-chablis/44490/13) highlighted different appellations within Burgundy, and he included history, photos, etc. This encouraged discussion, and those with wines from those regions were able to put their notes in the thread and discuss further.

This could EASILY be done with Bordeaux (St. Emilion, Margaux, Pomerol, etc), and I wonder if we have an interested party for it??

I would be very interested in it as a ‘consumer’ of the info (having also liked Ray’s threads). But unfortunately I don’t have the time to be an active creator of such threads…

Based in Bordeaux, and it’s true, frustrated by some of the anti-Bordeaux bias going around, I would be glad to contribute to such a feature, but cannot promise religious assiduousness!

Best regards,
Alex R.

Yes, I’m a Bordeaux lover and interested.

I’ll be glad to post on BDX’s I drink but like it or not you really need Jeff Leve to lead the way. [swoon.gif]

Jeff drinks a lot more of the costly and famous wines.

I can contribute with regard to the more affordable ones.

Best regards,
Alex R.

Don’t know if I would have a lot to contribute, but would most definitely enjoy this idea!

That was great Steve! [rofl.gif]
And since he has his own site, well, no need to do anything here!

I need someone to lead the features - I’m sure we will have participants if we get a consistent feature going

Don’t kid yourself Greg it’s all about promotion, and he would love to promote his site here.

No doubt. Next time I see you remind me to tell you some stories.
