Anyone purchased from Dee Vine Wines (www.dvw.com)?

Not sure if this is most appropriate here or in the Wine Pimps forum or what, but has anyone ever purchased from Dee Vine Wines (http://www.dvw.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;)??

They have a 2006 Domaine Rene Leclerc Gevrey-Chambertin 1er Cru Combes aux Moines for $18 right now, and it looks like the minimum price on Wine Searcher is around $54.

Are these guys reputable or will I regret taking the bait here.

Got a great deal on a 1950 Le Gay magnum from them a couple months ago. No issues with the order or delivery.

Have a feeling that’s gonna be sold out, but I’ve been there and purchased wine in person. Top notch guys.

I’ve only made one purchase from them (early last year), but the customer service, transaction, etc. all went very smoothly.

Excellent customer service…knowledgeable staff…great hard to find wines…I have bought about 4 cases over the past 5 yrs (mostly 1-2 bttles at a time)

I’ve bought from them in person. They are on the docks in San Fran and occasionally I have bought while waiting for the ferry. They are pretty much all Riesling, all the time. Never had a problem yet.

Great service. Great wines (I’ve only bought Riesling…and the mag of Le Gay…whoever posted above is fibbing neener ). Prices aren’t generally cheap, but as you point out here, real bargains can be found.

When did you purchase? Did you guys call or go online? Because I am still able to get it online, but as others have mentioned, when you call it says that they are sold out.

I ordered online as soon as I saw your post as I knew it would sell out. Then called and confirmed that I got the order in on time.

I had my order in about 9 a.m., timestamped by the email confirmation

There was a thread about the Leclerc sale on this board last week. I bought some then but they sold very quickly.
