anyone else having wine sent to work address by mistake?

My wines are MIA. FedEx signed for it and “delivered it to my place”.

Both Fedex and UPS have waived signature requirements for alcohol the past 3 or so months due to covid where I am. They just ring the bell. Fine by me. Waived sigs not covid. High value non-wine stuff still require sigs. I am also good with that.

During covid no one has been enforcing the signature requirement. Like Kelly, I’m good with that on wine, since our four person office is frequently empty these days and I like that they leave them in the corridor. If you actually had a valuable shipment (and I don’t mean wine, which is replaceable, I mean irreplaceable documents or similar) I’m not sure how comfortable I’d be shipping them these days.

I dont mind it either but the problem occurs when nobody knows where the missing wines or other items are. Was it incorrectly delivered? Was it stolen? It really sucks for buyer and seller.

Target sent some video games to my place of work… from 9 years ago. That was odd. Fortunately they called me and mailed it to me!
