Anyone been to Hakkasan- Beverly Hills?

Trying to find a spot for date night that I haven’t tried before. Anyone know anything about Hakkasan in BH?

Kevineats did something on it last Month. Check his blog out

Haven’t been to the one in LA, but the one in New York is really fun and recommended.

All i can think of when I see Hakkasan is popping bottles in Vegas

Charlie, thanks for the blog info. Looks really delicious. That’s the winner. Was going to do Hatfields as it was great last time we went and I was itching for the croque madame, but figured I would try something new. I’ll post my experience after I go on the 11th.

the original in london was excellent several years ago. we went when that was the only one. i can’t speak to any of the outposts, but i doubt they’re bad.

please let us know! My wife is stuck in BH for a few nights next week for work, I might take her out to eat there.

Will do. .

I have been a couple of times and I leave unimpressed each time. The food is just kind of flat from my perspective. My favorite thing on the menu are the french green beans. Everything is absurdly expensive. I felt the same thing about Chi Lin…a lot of sparkle, very little substance.

I agree with greenr about the sparkle, but I was pretty satisfied with my meal the last time I was there. It is pricey, sure, but the aesthetic is great and in my experience, so was the food.

No doubt, it’s a great looking room filled with great looking people.

Tonight it the night, so I will see if my experience is any better (with the food that is). Syrah for pairing with the cuisine ?

Riesling.

Take a torch if it’s anything like London or Abu Dhabi.

dark, dark, dark.

Viognier, pinot gris, muscat, riesling…maybe pinot

Really Good Charlie.

Service- A
Atmosphere- A
Food B+

Def. a bit pricey as it adds up quick with all of the dishes, but a great meal overall. DimSum was excellent, SeaBass rocked… but (and I can’t believe I’m actually saying this as a meat eater) the Tofu dish was better than my beef dish (Peppered Beef). Dessert (their take on a PB& J) was forgettable. I’d def. go back

Glad to hear you enjoyed it, it’s caddy-corner to my office and I walk and drive by it every day. Always seemed to be slammed at night even during the week, and the people I know that have gone enjoyed it as well. Will check it out.
