Any good Canadian Whiskey recommendations?

Understood Brent, and I am surprised I don’t seem to find any sourcing requirements for Bourbon. I would have expected some.
Interesting , i see quite a few NYS distillieries, any you think are really good? (sorry for the thread drift)

Actually I think quite a few are very good. Pricing, not so much.

Right now two of the more favorite ones I have are the Catskills Distilling Co & HillRock Estate. Catskills has a broad range (vodka, gin, & multiple whiskies) and they are much like Hudson (Tuthilltown) IMO. Great gin & vodka reasonably priced, the Rye & Bourbon are fair but still in the $35-40 range for a 375ml so not great qpr.

Hillrock estate is doing some awesome whiskeys but their pricing is Garretson-esque, $100ish for a 750ml. I just don’t see how ‘local craft’ products think they can get away with charging what you can pay for a nice 10-15+ yr old scotch, rye or bourbon.
