If anyone has thought about doing a cruise to Antarctica I can say that I highly recommend it. We just returned from Antarctica and it was truly other worldly.

Yep, did the polar plunge. It was cold but well worth it.

having recently been I offer two recommendations. Ships over 200 guests are not allowed toenter Antarctic waters and only 100 guests at a time can walk on the ice. Walking among penguins is something that should not be missed, Choose your cruise wisely.
Totally agree picking the ship is crucial. I believe the rule is if the ship has more than 500 no landings but for sure the limit is 100 at a time. That is why we went with Aurora. We went on two landings per day as we could all go at once. We did not want to have to take turns to go ashore.
