Just a quick note to remind everyone that the dry age, New York steaks are absolutely abnormal, meaning that these are off the charts, distinctive steaks in terms of flavor and texture. Really mind blowing. Did my typical reverse sear, using a gas grill at low temp offset to start, followed by a high heat sear on a big green egg. Stupendous.

Man, Iām thinking Flannery burgers are better value than hangers. 
My brother was visiting from out of town and I just received a shipment.
He was curious to try so I made simple patties w salt/pepper/powdered garlic/onions and pan seared.
Amazing!!
Speaking of Flanneryās dry-aged ground beef, lasagna and ragu made with it are out of this world. Mixing 1:1 with regular beef also works because the flavor is that rich.

The best part of using Flannery grind is that you donāt have to skim the fat off because itās so rich and adds a great flavor/texture to the dish.

Iāve used for meatballs, and yes theyāre pretty awesome.
But simple pattie for dinner w salad might be a new regular item for meā¦

Anyone know what happened to the ātraditionalā burger blend? Looks like I havenāt ordered it since last July but I donāt see that as an option.
It used to be $12.50/lb, too (looks like everythingās $18/lb now?)
I am a newbie to flannery, and want to try the burgers. They say on the email they send ināconvenient 1 lb shipmentsā. I have no idea what that means. Like one patty? I like big patties. Are they 1/4 lb? Even that is only 4 patties. I see no explanation. Can someone who orders these help explain what this means?! Even if half patties, that is two patties for a shipment. Seems odd. But I am a dunce at times.

Not pre-formed, so you can make any size patties you want.

Was thinking the same. Used to seeing $10 and $12 options emwith 4lb minimum (fine with me) and the occasional premium blend. Wasnāt expecting $18+ options even with the discount.
$12.60/lb after discount. 4 lb minimum but after that you can add in 1lb increments not 4.
I have my custom aged primal coming in a couple weeks which includes like 10-15lb of grind so unfortunately Iām gonna have to pass on this offer. Trying my best to eat down our freezer inventory in order to house that delivery. 
The NY steak burger was incredible ā¦ have to find some freezer space!
Are you kidding that NY steak burger is so good I would throw other crap away to make room!
