Angel hair pasta with arugla and peppers

Tonite I made a whole wheat angel hair pasta with a simple sauce of garlic, shallots, roasted yellow peppers, halved cherry tomatoes and arugula sautéed in olive oil and butter. After mixing the pasta with the sauce, a generous quantity of EVOO was drizzled over and fresh chopped parsley tossed on top. Vey good and light.

Preceded by some sliced beets with pieces of Brie with mushrooms, cold green beans, raddiccio, and cold grilled yellow peppers dressed with white balsamic and EVOO.

We drank a perfect 2005 Dehlinger Goldridge Pinot Noir.

And all made and on the table in 25 minutes!

I love the house style of Krug, 'specially at the price we paid for. I haven’t been drinking much lately…got this herniated disc in my neck that’s been killing me. Getting old sucks.

Just put some Dujac on it
