We finished drinking one of the 2014 Knez PN [Anderson Valley] that is a base blend of the three vineyards, over the last few days. Generally I like fatter, candied pinot better – but this was nice. It had a crisp edge and held up well over a few days, with a variety of foods. There are some savory notes on the nose, and cool red fruits on the palate. Not sure how it might age, but it seems to be tasty now. I’d give a B+ in my ledger, but most pinot is automatically lower for my taste buds.
