I’d forgotten about Martini & Prati. My parents purchased one of their redwood tanks in the 1960s to use as a water tank. Not only was it hell to find a cooper to disassemble and reassemble the tank, It took several fillings and drainings to get the wine character out of it.

There were a ton of redwood wine tanks that ended up as water tanks throughout California when prohibition started.
Didn’t Sebastiani have some redwood tanks carved with vineyard and winemaking scenes back in the 1980s?
