Crossposted from the Wine Today thread with some tweaks. Some outstanding older California cabs yesterday. The 2002 Burgess was stunning from the start, as was the 2006 EMH Black Cat and 2001 Shafer Hillside Select. A 2002 McKenzie-Mueller Cab Franc was also very good.

A couple of months ago I had a 1974 and 1975 Mondavi. Great wines, although the 1974 was better.

Had a 1999 Viader last year that was very good.
