Not sure if you are set on staying in the city, but I spent a couple of days in the Penedes area just outside of Barcelona in September last year, and had an awesome e-bike tour and went to some very good sparkling (and still) wine producers. Some of the people on our bike tour had taken the train in from Barcelona.
