We have not been there in 2 years or so. I thought the place was overrated and overpriced so we stopped going.
Tonight we gave them another shot, and the meal was simply superb. They now have a choice of 4 courses for $98 or the Chef’s mercy menu. We picked the former with 1 out of possible four for each course. All of them were quite good, with my dish of chanterelle mushrooms tops of all dishes, for me a 5/5 stars.
Wine was a 04 Schrader CCS that I brought along. We also had by the glass Philiponnat Rose, that was good but overpriced at $24 a glass of approx 4oz. Wines are very expensive with a half bottle of MV Krug at $205, so you get the idea.
But the food is first rate, and the service is excellent.
This is a much improved Addison from a couple years ago.
