Not really tasting notes, but two extremely divergent experiences with the 2013 (current release) vintage of Edmunds St. John Bone-Jolly–the rosé and the Gamay Noir (red). The rosé is refreshing and delightful–great on its own or with food. The Gamay Noir, on the other hand, is one angry bottle of wine–very tart/acidic and generally grumpy. I have no idea how long it will take the Gamay Noir to mellow out, but experiences with two different bottles were consistent–this is not in a happy place right now. The rosé, however…
