Hi everyone, thank you so much for your support on this auction so far.
I wanted to let you know that we have split one of the 10 case Cobb lots into five two-case lots in order to put the wines in the hands of more people who don’t want to add more shelving in their cellar just to support the auction.
We’ve done the same thing with a 5-case lot of Luli wines by Jeff Pisoni and Sara Floyd MS.
New items have also been added, including a magnum of 2017 Caraccioli sparkling, a case of Mexican Chenin Blanc by Towns Wine Co, a 3-Liter of Laurent-Perrier Champagne, a lunch and tasting for 6 at Gemstone, and more. Also Kerrin Laz just juiced her lot up, to include a tasting and giveaway of the 2022 Screaming Eagle Sauvignon Blanc!
Also, In the event that there’s any overlap of a venn diagram between wine lovers and horse lovers, you can now also pick up an auction lot that gives you the opportunity to inseminate the mare of your choice from your stable with a package from the stallion Katapult. Ahem.

For those who may still be interested in this topic, I’d like to give you an update on the auction and point out a few potential… values.
There are still two lots of Cobb Wines (1 case each of 2021 Doc’s Ranch and Coastlands) that have no bids on them, and are priced at WELL BELOW their value.
There’s a magnum of 2017 Caraccioli sparkling that was only $100 last time I checked.
Two new items were added today: a wine and caviar tasting for four at Trinchero and two cases of wine from Stereograph.
There are two magnums of Gaja also without any bids at this point. $800 puts you in the lead for an item worth $1500 at least.
Just sayin’ people might want to keep an eye out as the auction approaches its close on Thursday.

The auction for Rayas ends today, so now’s the time to start poking around and setting maxbids to grab good values that remain. There are 10 cases of Cobb wines still priced at $4k ($12k value) for anyone who wants to get a screaming deal. Also two bottles of perfectly aged Gaja Sperss for $650 ($1500 value). Etc. etc.
Also if you want to have a killer party with a bunch of friends, you can get a meal cooked by 2 famous chefs for 20 at Quintessa winery paired with older vintages from their library for just $8k now, which is a totally insane price.
