A Sandwich For The Win

Last night for dinner:

About a foot remnant of a loaf of French bread cut in half. On side number one a good spread of Dijon mustard from Grey Poupon. Topped that with left over Flannery Hanger steak that was cut along the long axis…about eight ounces worth. On side number two, I applied a good cup worth of oven roasted grape and sunburst tomatoes. Topped with thickly sliced Pecorino Romano. Off to the oven they went until the beef was warmed up, cheese melted and bread nice and toasty.

One of the most memorable sammies in quite a while using purely left over product.

Try this one: Roasted or grilled lamb (or beef) with roasted garlic and brie on a baguette. Even better with some sliced heirloom tomato.

Brie+Toasted baguette+meat=WIN

Love leftover sandwiches!

For leftover leg 'o lamb, I layer it between foccacia bread with grilled onions, arugula and aioli.

I was jonesing for some arugla last night.

Leftover Flannery Hangar…It makes a nice sandwich…a NICE sandwich.
