A couple of other 08 B-C's

2008 Buisson-Charles Meursault ‘Les Tessons’ : Just flat out fantastic village level white. There are notes of almonds, honey, butter and minerals to the aroma. It has nice shape in the mouth with a dense, fruit sweet heart. There’s good underlying minerality and a squeeze of lemon juice to the finish.

2008 Buisson-Charles Pommard ‘En Chiveau’: A little grated ginger to the aroma at first along with perhaps some varnish. There’s good fruit here as well and in the mouth all sorts of tart red berries and currents ping around on the palate. It has a little liquorice and some underlying meat and earth. It is lithe, muscular and sinewy and in need of some serious cellar time.
