Thanks for the report on the Leroy…I’ve got a lone bottle of that and expected it to defy the reputation of the vintage and deliver. I suppose your note tells me to hold off on this one for a few more years and drink some more of my riskier labels (more likely to have issues with oxidation).

Agree on the '91 Rousseau, a stellar wine, and much better than I was expecting. Shame I only have one left…
The 1991 Rousseau Chambertin is one of my all time favorite Rousseau wines. Prefer it to the 1990.
Much prefer the 91 to the 90 Rousseau Chambertin, and I think the 91 is the best “young” Rousseau Chambertin for current drinking.
The '00 we had last weekend was a pretty smart wine also, just starting it’s drinking phase…
As is the 02 which I just posted on. Once they enter the drinking window, and I can’t argue that the 02 had not being so great, they seem to remain there forever.
Totally agree on both counts. I’m a '91 fan and that Rousseau is really one of the best.
